Is social distancing that we all have to practise now difficult or easy for you? Why?

Social distancing is something that we all experience right now. How hard it is for somebody, I think depends on their personality. For me it's not that bad, of course I miss my friends and going out with them but I also appreciate the amount of time that I have for myself. Now I have time to relax, do some stuff that I haven't even thought about when the school was open. I also really like the online learning system for eg. because there are less lessons. However the main advantage of online learning for me is that I can wake up just before the lesson and I don't have to drive to school in a crowded bus.

Is the impact of globalization on our life positive or negative?

I think it has a mostly positive impact because even though there were a lot of negative effects like the exchange in diseases (for example smallpox or typhus) which led to devastation of the population in the New World (natives) or the beginning of slavery, it still had a big positive influence on today's world. The most important part was probably the exchange in animals and plants that allowed the population to grow.

Do you think the response of the Polish society and government to the coronavirus epidemic has been appropriate?

I think so far the response has been pretty good, especially the government's part because a few days after the first cases of the virus have been confirmed in Poland, all schools, universities, etc. had been closed. All flights both international and inside the country had been canceled. Both of these actions were meant to help with the spreading of the virus, but some people (mostly young) took the situation too lightly and treated the quarantine as a form of vacation. Even after they were told to stay at home, some of them didn't care and still went out to meet with friends or they organised parties. I think that's the main cause of how the situation in Poland looks right now.

Is lying moraly wrong?

Is lying morally wrong? I think it depends on the reason why you are lying. Of course, it would be great to live in a fully honest world but the reality is that we lie almost every day. However, most of our lies don't really matter. For example white lies, somebody asked you if you liked their outfit and you didn't want to hurt their feelings so you lie and say that you do. These lies are harmless and I don't find them immoral but there could be situations that lying would be inappropriate for eg. when you lie about something important for the person you are talking to or if you lie to your close friend or family member.
